The short version
Synca does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything happens locally in your browser. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.
What stays on your device
Your tracked timezones and settings (theme, time format, on-page style) are saved with Chrome’s local storage, on your device only. They are never uploaded anywhere.
Time detection and conversion run entirely in the page and the popup. No page content leaves your browser.
No external requests
Synca makes no network requests. It ships with everything it needs — no remote code, no third-party scripts, no fonts or assets fetched at runtime.
Permissions, and why
storage — to remember your zone list and settings locally between sessions.
contextMenus — to add the right-click “convert this time” entry.
Synca requests nothing beyond what these features need.
Third parties
None. No data is shared with anyone, because none is collected.

If this policy ever changes, the updated date below will change with it. Material changes will be reflected in the extension’s store listing.
